How To Treat Acne?

Acne - A Complex Medical Condition When Your Hair Follicles Become Plugged With Oil And Dead Skin Cells

At its root, adult acne is caused by the same four factors that cause teen acne: excess skin oil production, bacteria, inflammation - leading to pores becoming clogged by ‘sticky’ skin cells and diet, which influences inflammation throughout the body. Any changes in hormones, including those brought on by pregnancy and menstruation, can trigger excess oil. Women who smoke also seem to be more prone to acne.

Acne is strongly associated with eating a Western-style diet rich in calories, fat and refined carbohydrates.

To help heal your skin, reduce scars, decrease outbreaks and improve complexion, you may use several natural remedies. Many antiseptic, anti-inflammatory herbs may help heal acne, such as calendula, chamomile, lavender, rosemary. Also helpful are avocado oil, aloe leaf juice, tea tree oil, and rose water as toner.

At Sokörpe Skin-Care Advisers we recommend the following regimen:

1.       Gently wash you face with our Vegan Aloe and Olive Oil Facial Cleanser Cream With MSM & Vegan DMAE, Vitamins A, C, B5, & E. Loaded with moisture boosting organic aloe and olive oil, soothing organic lavender and calendula, with antioxidant rich organic rooibos and white tea, along with natures “beauty mineral”, MSM* and toning DMAE**, your will be totally amazed and satisfied by the winning results of our excellent formula.

2.       Now hydrate your skin with our organic Hyaluronic Acid Serum (Important: while your skin is still damp). Hydrated skin is healthy-looking skin!  Hyaluronic acid is a powerful and critical humectant that binds water to collagen. This also applies to those suffering from acne, dryness or the signs of aging as it speeds up wound healing. Hyaluronic acid can help retain your skin's moisture content and help counteract these common issues.

3.       Apply our superior Vitamin C Serum With Organic Hyaluronic Acid, Non-GMO Vitamin E (one dropper is sufficient for the entire face). Vitamin C Serum can help protect the skin from many problems, because of its antioxidant properties. It helps with sunburn, photoaging, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, sagging, dryness, and an uneven skin tone. It is excellent for treating acne, as it helps prevent the forming of free radicals, which go on to break down collagen and elastin. Vitamin C Serum helps fade hyperpigmentation, especially in areas where acne has healed. Let it dry.

For your nighttime routine - after step 2.) continue with step 4.)

4.       Apply our Retinoid Serum with 2.5% Granactive Retinoid. When lightly spread on the skin, Retinoid Serum can unclog pores, allowing other creams and gels to penetrate better. Retinoid Serum is anti-inflammatory and reduces acne outbreaks by preventing dead cells from clogging pores. By clearing acne and reducing outbreaks, Retinoid Serum may also reduce the formation of acne scars. Our Retinoud Serum has a new patented molecule called Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (HPR), that is an ester of Retinoic Acid and works similar to Tretinoin (Retin–A), but without the irritation.

These are our approved 4 steps of a highly effective regimen to treat acne, other skin impurities and for healthy looking skin with great complexion. But keep in mind that as important is it is to treat and heal the outside of your skin, you must change your diet for lasting results.

Throughout the day we recommend to hydrate and tone your skin with our Organic Rose Water. The anti-inflammatory properties of Organic Rose Water can help reduce skin redness, prevent additional swelling, and soothe the discomfort of acne. Organic Rose Water is rich in vitamin C and phenolics - making it a natural, anti-inflammatory option for inflamed acne.

To treat spot pimples or isolated acne outbreaks, apply our Roll-On Retinoid Serum Application with 2.5% Granactive Retinoid. Unlike Retinol and other derivatives that must be converted to the biologically active form of Retinoic Acid, HPR binds directly with Retinoid receptors to initiate a response in the skin. Because HPR is an ester of Retinoic Acid – the active form of Retinol, instead of an ester of Retinol, it doesn’t have to go through the same conversion process to be used directly by skin. So, in theory, a lower amount of HPR can elicit the same results as higher concentrations of Retinol.
